I created Sacred Grounds as a place to slow down, speak honestly, and reconnect with what matters. My work is rooted in presence, compassion, and respect for your own inner wisdom.

Born in Tucson and raised in Nogales, I grew up with prayer, ceremony, and a deep awareness of the sacred in everyday life. My mother’s faith and my father’s sensitivity shaped the questions I would carry into adulthood.

During two years in the Yucatán, I deepened my relationship with nature, community, and ceremony. Later, after losing my mother, Reiki became a meaningful part of my own journey through grief. I went on to become a Reiki Master and an ordained minister.

My experience in social services, coaching, and group facilitation informs how I work: I listen closely, meet you where you are, and make room for the things that can be difficult to put into words. A session may include conversation, meditation, breath awareness, or Reiki, guided by your needs and comfort.

You do not need a particular belief system or the right words to begin. You are welcome to bring your questions, your uncertainty, and your full self.

Away from this work, I find grounding in the mountains of southern Arizona and my garden. These ordinary moments remind me of what Sacred Grounds means: life itself is sacred.
